Summer training for FIS Cross-Country athletes does not necessarily mean to stay away from snow. Various athletes and training camps have returned to resorts that still provide training conditions for Cross-Country skiing.
Those snow sessions meant also testing of new equipment and for some FIS Cross-Country athletes, the beginning of a new collaboration with a new brand.
One of the earliest equipment change announcements came from the Swiss Sprint rocket, Nadine Fähndrich. The 26 year-old has celebrated great successes on Peltonen skis but decided that it’s #timetoplay with the Salomon Nordic Team.
Also Nadine’s brother Cyril, who has started competing in the World Cup in 2020/21, decided to switch from Peltonen to Atomic skis.
