Franz-Josef Rehrl took the victory of the PCR in Val di Fiemme (ITA) today, in the absence of the current World Cup leader Jarl Magnus Riiber.

After a cruciate ligament injury, the Austrian returned to the World Cup at the season opening in Ruka (FIN). After another break, Rehrl presented himself in good shape, at today’s PCR and flew to strong 102 meters at the HS106 in Predazzo. With 142.4 points, the Austrian took the victory ahead of Japanese Yoshito Watabe (99.5 m, 136.5 pts) on rank two.

The furthest jump of the day was performed by Johannes Lamparter with 105 meters (136.3 pts). The Austrian placed third in the end, ahead of his team mate Lukas Greiderer (98 m, 132.5 pts).

Due to a training injury, World Cup leader Jarl Magnus Riiber will not compete at the Individual Gundersen on Saturday and therefore didn’t take part in todays PCR.
