Alpine Racing Collective (ARC) is based in Park City, UT. Based on the momentum and demand for our alpine program we have Alpine Head Coaches and Assistant coach positions within our U8, U10, U12, U14/16 programs for the 2024-2025 season. The ideal candidate’s qualities include enthusiasm, a desire for personal growth as a coach and individual, and the ability to connect with athletes and families.
Compensation is competitive. Coaches receive at minimum a full Ikon and UOP pass. Applicants must be able to pass and secure a U.S. Ski & Snowboard background check, CPR/First Aid certification, Safesport, etc. This is a great opportunity for a coach who wishes to develop professionally and is looking for top tier program with low 6/1 Athlete to coach ratio.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be able to pass and secure a U.S. Ski & Snowboard background check.
- CPR/First Aid certification
- SafeSport certification
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- A love of working with young athletes and the ability to connect with them.
- A desire to develop professionally to become the best coach you can be.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coaching men and/or women U8, U10, U12, U14/16 Alpine athletes
- Training with athletes 3-6 days a week (depending on program)
- Providing video analysis of athletes
- Goal setting and mid-season reviews for each athlete
- Planning and managing athlete training & travel
- May require some program budgeting and reconciling financial costs for head coach
- Traveling for one week, or more, at a time could be required for away races and camps
Other Duties
- Instilling the team culture with their athletes and families, leading, and evaluating staff and athletes and ultimately developing World Class Kids through a comprehensive alpine racing program.
- The Alpine Coach reports directly to the Alpine Director and works in close collaboration our host resorts, and Team Committees to ensure the Alpine Program is operating in alignment with the ARC Mission and Vision.
- The Alpine Coach could manage all aspect of race organization, in conjunction with the Race Administrator, Race Committee and appropriate staff from host resorts. This includes but is not limited to: on hill preparations, site selections, course setting, timing and officiating.
- Works closely with Alpine Director to implement effective programs and protocols.
- Implements a consistent, effective, and regular athlete evaluation process
- The Head Coach may be required to travel to races to coach athletes and mentor coaching staff.
- Opportunity to coach at off-season trainings including summer and fall camps.
- Manages all aspect of race organization, in conjunction with the Race Administrator, Race Committee and appropriate staff from host resorts. This includes but is not limited to: on hill preparations, site selections, course setting, timing and officiating.
- Works with our Alpine staff and staff from Partner Resorts to ensure all venues are managed for optimal alpine training and competitions.
- Works with the Alpine Director to ensure ARC is represented at all necessary IMD and USSA meetings.
- Works with Alpine Director, Team Managers, Team Committees to coordinate effective, consistent, and regular communication between athletes, parents and coaches as well as the community at large.
- Could act as Equipment Manager reporting any ARC equipment or maintenance issues to the Alpine Director.
- Assists Alpine Director with budgeting and travel expense reports as needed.
- Attends family and partner meetings as requested by the Alpine Director.
- Supports the organization at large by assisting with fundraising and events as needed.

Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
- Minimum of a Full Ikon Season Pass.
