Utah Ski Resort Showcases Gorgeous Images Of New Roof-Access Tram

Earlier this week, on August 30th, Snowbird, a Utahan ski resort, took to X (formerly Twitter) to show off their new tram. As they should. It looks tremendous.

See the photos below.

Snowbird opened these new balcony-adorned tram cars to the public earlier this summer on June 17th.

If you’ve always wanted to ride atop a tram — can’t blame ya, I do, too — click here for more information.

Remember that hitting the tram balcony requires an additional add-on purchase, which is $10 or $20, depending on whether you’ve shown up during a peak pricing day or not. The add-on system extends to pass holders.

In the tram information tab of its website, Snowbird states that the tram balcony is not available while it’s raining, which indicates that tram rooftop rides in the winter are probably out, too.

Fair play, honestly. Getting blown off the top of a tram during a snowstorm isn’t high on my bucket list. In fact, it’s probably somewhere near the bottom.

But riding the roof of this thing on a summer evening? Sign me up. And I’m not even a big summer sightseeing at ski resorts guy, so that’s saying something. Those images shared on X have me sold.
