As a ‘comeback’, it is in the role of a coach that the three-time Olympic champion will bring his expertise to the Men’s Speed Team. An expertise that will mean a lot, as he has won 3 gold medals at the Olympic Games, 11 World Cup victories and 45 podiums.
The 32-year-old will provide additional support to the staff, offering his help and advice to the team at various training camps and World Cup races.
His expertise will also be used for the next generation of skiers in the various European Cup groups, to help the new generation make the step up to the world cup more easily and more quickly.
This new collaboration is scheduled to begin in the autumn, before continuing through the various races.
