“It has been one hell of a ride.” – Henrik Kristoffersen
Many would consider this an understatement from Henrik Kristoffersen, who has announced that he will be parting ways with Rossignol.
In Kristoffersen’s 18 years as a Rossignol athlete, Kristoffersen has won two Olympic medals and stood on 72 World Cup podiums, 28 of which were victories.
Kristoffersen expressed how grateful he is for Rossignol’s involvement in his career in an Instagram post. He wrote, “I want to thank Rossignol for taking the chance on a little kid with big dreams, and standing by me ever since.”
The Rossignol team continues to show admiration, respect and support for Kristofferson, no matter his decision. On Kristoffersen’s announcement Instagram post, Rossignol commented, “Thanks for the years, your involvement, the abnegation and the medals. You made us better. All the best for the future!”
Kristoffersen has yet to officially announce what skis he will be on in the coming season, but there is speculation that he will be joining team Van Deer.
