Pretty cool little video here by Timberline Lodge.
It’s 4 years old, but it shows how the ski resort ‘farms’ snow to keep the mountain open all summer long.
This is pretty naïve of me to say, but I wasn’t aware that Timberline actually prepared the Palmer snowfields throughout the winter for summer operations.
It makes sense, and I kind of feel like an idiot for not knowing that before…
