PCR victory for Hansen in Villach

The Provisional Competition Round for the Women’s FIS Nordic Combined Summer Grand Prix finale in Villach (AUT) took place in bright sunshine this afternoon. 

After a rainy start to this year’s Grand Prix at the first two stages, the Villacher Alpenarena welcomed 27 athletes from 10 nations with warm temperatures for two training jumps and the PCR afterwards. 

Gyda Westvold Hansen secured the victory with 87 meters and a total of 124.8 points.

The furthest jump of the day was performed by Svenja Würth with 93.5 meters. With 110.8 points the German took rank two.
Last years Overall Summer Grand Prix winner Ema Volavsek from Slovenia reached 87.5 meters (105.6 pts) and placed third.
