Airline Jet2.com has put tickets for flights to airports serving many of Europe’s leading ski resorts on sale up to almost two years in advance, covering the season after next, winter 24/25
The company says it has made the decision, the earliest in advance Jet2.com has ever put its Ski programme on sale, “…in direct response to strong demand from snow sports fans looking to secure their place on the slopes.”
Jet2 will offer flights to Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Lyon and Turin with services from ten UK bases (Belfast International, Bristol, Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle International and London Stansted) between mid-December 2024 to 31st March 2025.
There are not services between every UK airport and every mainland European airport but altogether there are 34 ski routes and there will be over 60 weekly ski flights during peak periods.
“Customers have been telling us how much they want to secure their place on the slopes next winter, so we have responded to that demand,” said Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, adding “…it means skiers and snowboarders can book ahead and get access to some of the best ski resorts in the world. With so many customers wanting to book ahead, we are anticipating the early release of the programme to be extremely popular.”
