France announces its 2023/24 freestyle and snowboard teams

As usually at this time of the year, the national team selections for the next season keep coming in and today we present you the ski cross, moguls, freeski, snowboard cross as well as snowboard park & pipe that will represent France in 2023/24.

It was a highly successful season for Les Blues, in which it’s freestyle teams collected a total of 23 World Cup podiums including seven victories and three crystal globes – two in moguls (dual moguls and overall moguls) from Perrine Laffont and one in big air coming from Tess Ledeux. On top of that Ledeux became the big air World Champion at Bakuriani 2023, with Laffont taking all there was up for grabs in Georgia, leaving with two gold in moguls and dual moguls.

On the snowboard side of things the French squad capped off the 2022/23 campaign with 15 World Cup podiums, including three victories. The best French snowboard cross athlete Chloe Trespeuch also finished the SBX season in a runner-up position, adding World Championships’ bronze along her teammate Merlin Surget.

That being said there is plenty of reasons for the French fans to be excited for the next season. Of course besides those well-known names such as Laffont, Ledeux or Trespeuch, in 2023/24 French freestyle and snowboard teams also consists of an enthusiastic and explosive group of up-and-comers ready to try their chances at the Europa Cup as well as FIS level competitions.
