Travel
I flew with Air Canada, which is my favorite airline. They have great prices and schedules, so you might want to check them out here. To get from Calgary to Banff, you have two options: either rent a car and drive on a simple and scenic road, or take one of the comfortable and convenient transfer buses here.
Accommodation
I stayed at the Moose Hotel and Suites, which had a spacious room with a lounge, a kitchenette and a fireplace. It was very close to the center of town and the ski bus stop.
