Postion Overview
Völkl Dalbello Marker is seeking a North American Race Manager to help the VDM team promote and grow our leading equipment brands in the alpine racing categories. This position is will serve as the primary contact for all race athletes, clubs, programs and race centers. This is a full-time, year-round position based in Lebanon, NH. This position reports to the Director or Promotions. Travel throughout North America is required. A list of responsibilities includes but is not limited to
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop relationships with all levels of alpine ski racing and clubs across North America
- Identify and recruit influential racers, athletes, coaches and pros that would be influential in representing the VDM brands
- Work with and support National and Global Race athletes as needed
- Assist in the planning, creation, and execution of global Racing marketing strategies for U.S. market
- Work with Management to forecast and create equipment orders
- Support Elevate Retailers with VDM race products and racing programs at promotional events; Fit Night support, demo & testing days
- Allocate, organize, and service equipment for athletes, clubs
- Athlete and coach budget tracking and management
- Manage sponsorship criteria for qualified athletes
- Manage and execute boot building program
- Management of significant VDM assets
- Represent VDM racing at industry events
- Race event attendance, organize and staff Test Centers and organize test events
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong USSA/FIS ski racing background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and financial management
- Team player with great attitude
- Experience in high performance ski tuning & boot fitting preferred
- Able to take direction and be a self starter when necessary
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Clean driving record
Salary
Salary Range
This is a SALARY position with Elevate Outdoor Collective. The pay range for this role is $47,000-$50,000 annually
