It was before the World Cup in Falun in mid-March, that Anna Dyvik wrote up an Instagram post, stating that she is ending her carrer after the season. The Final Climb to the Alpe Cermis in Anna’s first ever Tour De Ski became therefore the final World Cup race from the Swedish woman.
Anna has acchived many things in the Cross Country tracks. In 2014, her success started out with gold in Relay with the Junior team at the JWSC in Val di Fiemme (ITA). Three years later, the then U23 athlete brought home two more U23 World Champion titles in 10km F and Sprint C from the Junior and U23 World Championships in Soldier Hollow (USA). On home soil, two more Sprint gold medals rewarded Dyvik at the National Championships in 2021 and 2023.
In the season 2016/17 she also took home the overall victory of the Scandinavian Cup – as the first Swedish female athlete ever! Anna Dyvik has represented Sweden in 64 World Cups and in two Olympic Winter Games.
The 28-years has for a long time been struggeling with back problems, and that is a big part of the reason that she is now ending her carrer.
