Sportsinsurance.com is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the first women’s alpine ski racing team in the 2023 World Pro Ski Tour since the 1990s. Competitors include Canadian Erin Mielzynski and American Kaitlyn Harsh.
The highlights of the many accomplishments of these two experienced racers are below.
Canadian Erin Mielzynski has competed in four Winter Olympics and five World Championships wins. Mielzynski’s stellar record also includes:
- 1st SL World Cup Ofterschwang, GER (first Canadian woman in 41 years to win a World Cup slalom race)
- 3rd SL World Cup Zagreb, Croatia
- 2nd Team Event World Championships Vail/Beavercreek
- 4x Olympian (Vancouver, Sochi, Pyeongchang, Beijing)
- 6th SL World Championships Vail/Beavercreek
American Kaitlyn Harsch holds All American Honors, posting 8th place in Slalom at the NCAA Championships in 2022.Harsch’s. Kaitlyn’s impressive stats also include
- Top Collegiate career Slalom Finish: Sixth (2021 CU Invitational)
- Back to back 2nd place finishes in Aspen December 2022
- Overall Winner at Regional Championship in Vail 2019
- Placed 1st & 2nd in SL, and 2nd & 4th in GS.
- First FIS win ever
- 3rd Overall Season on World Pro Ski Tour standings
