In this video by FIS Ski, Lucas Braathen shares a bit more of his story. The Norwegian found the top step of the World Cup podium in 2020, where he won the Soelden GS. He was 20 years old. Two years later in 2022, Braathen won first World Cup slalom in Wengen. Less than a week later he claimed second place in the Kitzbuehel slalom. In March, 2022, Braathen stood on the second step of the podium for two World Cup GS races – once in Kranjska Gora and again in Courchevel.

Currently ranked sixth in slalom and GS, Braathen is someone to watch. Are you curious about how he has had so much success at such a young age? If so, this short video is worth a watch.
