New Gondola & Piste for Ischgl

Ischgl in the Austrian Tirol region will see the inauguration of a new eight-person gondola, Furglerblick, this winter.
This gondola will travel 1,142 m in just over four minutes, reaching the top station positioned at 2,570 m up the mountain, providing easier access to a larger off-piste area, as well as access to a new blue run.
This new lift is designed to ease the pressure on the area’s existing quad chairlift, cutting down queueing times and making getting up the mountain easier.
The lift design considers nature conservation, with the aim of damaging the environment as little as possible during construction, the resort says.
The lift is scheduled to open in December 2022, alongside the new blue run.
