“It’s been a few years since I put too much stress on myself, too many sleepless nights. Lack of sleep gradually “kills” the body but also kills the motivation, the mood, the passion and when the body is your working tool, it doesn’t forgive,” the French professional felt like he was burnt out.
Thus, he wisely took the right decision – despite Olympic Games knocking on the door.
Now, the 26 year-old had taken months off to recover and orientate where he is at in his career, and has announced to step back from professional skiing.
“This decision did not come easy and required a lot of energy and long moments to reflect since this spring,” he publishes online.
