Denmark is known for being an extremely flat country, and the country’s only ski resort is actually built on the roof of an energy plant in downtown Copenhagen.

Copenhill uses Neveplast, a synthetic surface that allows for skiing and snowboarding 365 days a year.

Swedish superstar skier (and madman) Jesper Tjäder visited Copenhill for the Scandinavian Team Battle freestyle competition and filmed a grainy 90s camcorder-style video for us all to watch.
