After spending the majority of her ski racing career on Volkl skis, New Zealand’s Alice Robinson has announced that she will be parting with the brand.
At the age of 20, Robinson has been on Volkl for roughly a decade, skiing on her first pair of Volkls when she was only 10 years old.
In a recent Instagram post, Robinson wrote, “I started skiing on Völkl when I was 10 years old and it’s been an incredible journey going from being a little kid skier to the World Cup wins. I’m extremely proud of what we have achieved and I’m going to look back on our partnership and remember all the special and amazing memories together.”
Despite her dedication to the brand, change is not unheard of. In the same Instagram post, she said, “The time has come for change and I’m very excited for the next chapter going forward.”
There is speculation that she is switching to Salomon, but she has not yet officially announced the direction she is going.
