We’re a few days into summer in the northern hemisphere, so hopefully the sun is shining wherever you are in the world – especially if you’re lucky enough to be on skis at this point.
With the countdown to the official start of summer now in the past, the sporting world is now counting down to the start of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, which is set to get underway in just four weeks in Japan. With the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games comin up six-ish months after the Tokyo Games, we’ll all be watching closely to see how the greatest event in sports plays out in this new reality.
All of which is a bit of a preamble to the biggest news of this week, as athletes and fans around the world celebrated Olympic Day 2021 on Wednesday by sharing some of their fondest Olympic memories and hopes for the future. For us, that meant revisiting some epic ski cross shots from the past three OWGs…
