Instagram fan polls – best SBX photo finish of the season

This past weekend, SBX fans got to vote on the FIS Snowboard Instagram channel between the tightest photo finish moments of the season among men and women.
The choice indeed was tough! For the women the photo-finish moments to chose from were:
1) The French battle between Julia Pereira de Sousa Mabileau and teammate Chloe Trespeuch in the quarterfinals of Bakuriani (GEO), which was a test event for the 2023 FIS Freestyle Ski, Snowboard and Freeski World Championships.
2) The fight between Austria’s Pia Zerkhold, who has also been voted Rookie of the year 2021, and Chloe Trespeuch in the fight for a World Champs medal in the mixed team event in Idre Fjall. Zerkhold was the one who won this exceptionally tight photo finish in the end. 55% of the fans voted to rewatch the heat on social media.
