Thea Minyan Bjoerseth, Halvor Egner Granerud, Silje Opseth, and Marius Lindvik secured the second place for Norway. “It was a really great competition, the conditions were nice and the hill was well prepared. It was a lot of fun to jump here today”, Silje Opseth said after the competition.

The team of Austria was fighting for the places two, three, and four with Norway and Germany. In the end, the Austrians came in 0.9 points ahead of the German team and took the third place. “It was really cool that we could compete together with the men, we don’t get to do this very often. It’s a cool hill, I got to fly better now after I was struggling in earlier today”, said Marita Kramer, who was the best female athlete in the field today.

Germany came in fourth this afternoon. “We can be satisfied with the fourth place today, the other teams are very strong and now we are looking forward to the competitions this weekend”, said German head coach Stefan Horngacher.

The fifth place went to Japan, followed by Poland, France, Russia.
