Tiller wins PCR in Klingenthal

Simen Tiller is the winner of todays Provisional Competition Round in Klingenthal (GER).

Under winterly conditions, the PCR/Qualification for tomorrows Mens Individual Gundersen took place on the Vogtland Arena HS140 this evening. 

58 athletes from 15 nations were on the Start List for two training jumps and the PCR, on the first large hill events since Lillehammer (NOR) in early December. 

Simen Tiller showed a strong jump to 137.5 meters (138.2 pts) and took the victory, ahead of Terence Weber, who jumped the furthest distance of the day with 142.5 meters. The German placed only 0.1 points behind the Norwegian with a total of 138.1 points. 

Franz-Josef Rehrl from Austria placed third (138.5 m, 137. 2pts), while the current owner of the blue bib as Best Jumper, Mario Seidl, reached the 5th place with the second furthest distance of the day on 139 meters (136.6 pts).
Kristjan Ilves from Estonia showed another strong performance and took rank four with 135 meters and 137.1 points.
