Switzerland’s Julie Zogg won her third consecutive parallel slalom race in Bannoye on Sunday while Austria’s Andreas Prommegger claimed the men’s competition to wrap up the season’s first weekend of World Cup alpine snowboard racing.
Zogg remained perfect in PSL events in Bannoye, defeating surprise runner-up Tsubaki Miki (JPN) in the big final to make it three victories in a row on the venue in Bannoye after her 2019/20 and 2020/21 triumphs.
With her Bannoye treble and 2019 PSL victory in Moscow, half of Zogg’s eight career World Cup victories have now come in Russia.
