More Statements after the competition in Bischofshofen:

Jan Hoerl (AUT): There were ups and downs for me today. In the first round, I was too late at the take-off, then it’s tough from gate eight. The second jump then was a lot better. The start of the 4-Hills-Tournament was not that good for me, I’m very satisfied with the results in Garmisch and here and also with the eighth place overall.

Stephan Leyhe (GER): It’s a lot better to be competing in the 4-Hills-Tournament than to watch from home like last year. When you have Top 10 results at the beginning of the season then this is the level you want to perform on for the rest of the season, that’s why I’m a bit disappointed today. I don’t really know what’s the reason that I lack about ten meters.

Karl Geiger (GER): It was a difficult 4-Hills-Tournament, also emotionally. But now it’s over, we have to analyze it and see that we can do better next time. Yesterday and today were two very good days and I’m satisfied with my performances here.

Philipp Aschenwald (AUT): My performance here was a lot more consistent, jumping is a lot more fun again. I’m on the right track. It couldn’t be any better for Daniel than to celebrate his first World Cup win here in Bischofshofen, obviously, I’m very happy for him. This is cool for the entire team.

Halvor Egner Granerud (NOR): I had seven good jumps during this 4-Hills-Tournament, it was the most stable part of the season for me and I’m satisfied with that. I’m leaving the 4-Hills with three podiums and I’m happy about that. We had a quite good fight for the last spot on the podium and I think on a day like today you have to say “well done, Ryoyu” and I’m happy with what I achieved.

Marius Lindvik (NOR): I’m happy with the second place in the overall ranking. In the first round, I was a bit too late at the take-off, I then managed to do a bit better in the second round so I’m satisfied with the performance today. I have been jumping really well during this 4-Hills-Tournament, Ryoyu is really good and he deserves the win. I’ll keep on working and I’ll try to beat him in the future.
